All of Contexture’s work is fully supported by a comprehensive educational programme. As part of a school group booking, we offer:

• An in-school workshop on the relevant play
• A resource pack
• A Q&A session after the performance with some of the actors or   creative team

 

Contexture also delivers a wide range of generic and bespoke in-school workshops to complement the English and Drama curriculum. These include:

• The Mechanics of Shakespearean Comedy
• The Style and Wit of the English Restoration
• Physical Theatre (inspired by Philippe Gaulier and Complicite)
• Realism and the Stage (Stanislavski).
• Alienation and Epic Theatre (Brecht).

 

We are more than happy to create workshops around any play, literary work, project or activity that the school may be working on.

For the more adventurous, we also offer theatre challenges where students create their own work, refine it and then perform it to a live audience.
