About us
Gailie Pollock
Gailie started her professional career at the age of 17, working backstage with the original cast of ‘Les Misérables’. After gaining a degree in drama from the Royal Scottish Conservatoire, she has been seen on national tours, in the West End, the US and the Gulf States in plays by Shakespeare, Ayckbourn, Bernard Shaw, Arthur Miller, Neil Simon and Terry Johnson. She looks forward to bringing these and other prolific writers to Bishop's Stortford.
Gailie’s directing experience started with setting up a charity in London enabling urban teenagers to perform in some of the capital’s amazing theatres like Sadler’s Wells, Stratford East and Wimbledon. After taking a couple of years out to gain valuable experience teaching Drama at Bishop’s Stortford College, she is thrilled to be producing her own productions again.
To date, she has directed 'Blue Orange' and appeared in 'The God of Carnage' and 'Twelfth Night'.
